2019 As Eye See It Photographic Exhibition

The As Eye See It Photographic Exhibition offers an opportunity for young Western Australians in care to express themselves through images and words.
Participants receive a camera and are invited to attend a workshop, where they learn basic photography skills and are mentored by professional photographers.
The young people are then asked to submit five photographs, including one of their right eye, to illustrate their care journey and to share their care experiences.
The images are framed and will be exhibited at the WA Shipwrecks Museum in Fremantle during National Child Protection Week (1-7 September) and beyond.
The exhibition is free and open to the public from 30 August (12noon onwards) – 20 October 2019.
