Adoption and providing a Permanent home for a child

You are thinking about adoption but did you know there is another way you can provide a permanent home for a child?

The Department for Child Protection and Family Support is actively seeking singles, couples and families to provide a permanent home for a child. There are many children in the care of the Department who are unable to return to their own families and need loving, stable, long term care with another family.

When you attend an adoptions information session, we will talk to you more about providing a permanent home for a child in care. If you would like to find out more now, click on the “permanent placements " link below.
